i'm not exactly sure why i take photographs. i didn't figure this out during three years of uni, i'm propably never going to. perhaps i always wanted to be an artist but never was very good at drawing or painting and this is the way i get closest results to what my brain wants to express. i also wanted to be a writer once upon a time but then realised i was no hemmingway either as well as no someone who draws well. (not that i've read hemmingway..)
perhaps it's some sort of compulsive behaviour.
i take pictures of bands, my friends and i do a lot of self portraits. because these are the things i have, to take pictures of. i don't know how they relate to your life, but they are mine and if i wish to share it, it is my choice.
